The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative and office-management tasks, including maintaining and organizing electronic and hard-copy files; preparing and processing correspondence and other documents; cite-checking and editing briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents; managing certain aspects of the office and its operations; supporting at least four litigation attorneys; answering phones and greeting visitors and clients; interfacing with vendors; and attending to other day-to-day operational tasks.

Required Experience:
A minimum of two years of experience as an administrative assistant, with preference given to those with law-firm experience in civil litigation. Strong Microsoft Office skills and typing is required. Ability to transcribe dictation preferred. Comfort (or the ability quickly to become comfortable) with Apple-based systems strongly preferred.
Hours and Pay:
Approximately 25-30 hours per week, with a preferred schedule of approximately 10 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday (with a 30-minute break for lunch). Hourly pay rate of $15-$20, depending on experience.
