Caplan Cobb LLP is pleased to announce the addition of two new lawyers: Julia Blackburn Stone and Ashley C. Brown.
Julia joined our team in June. She is a 2011 graduate of the Emory University School of Law and a 2008 graduate of Barnard College. While in law school, Julia was the Executive Notes and Comments Editor of the Emory International Law Review. She practiced for over five years with a prestigious litigation firm in Atlanta before joining our firm. Julia’s practice at Caplan Cobb will focus on complex civil litigation and appellate matters. Ashley joined the firm in July. She is a 2012 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law and a 2008 graduate of the University of Miami. While in law school, she was articles editor for the Virginia Journal of International Law. After law school, Ashley served as a law clerk for two federal judges: Judge Petrese Tucker (Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania) and Judge Bernice Donald (U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit). Ashley then practiced with a large national law firm and served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Western District of Tennessee.
